The Race Day Fuel Pack pulls together the four Precision Fuel & Hydration products our runners buy most: PF 30 gels, PF 30 chews, PH 1500 electrolyte tablets and Electrolyte Capsules. Enough carbs for a full marathon plus your last long runs, and enough electrolytes to support your hydration strategy on a hot Australian race morning.

What's in the box

• 12 × PF 30 Energy Gel (30g carbs each, neutral flavour, no flavour fatigue). Caffeine option: 10 × PF 30 + 2 × PF 30 Caffeine (100mg) for the final 10km.
• 2 × PF 30 Energy Chews – Watermelon (30g carbs per pack, for when you want to chew instead of squeeze)
• 1 × PH 1500 Electrolyte Tablets (10 tablets, 1500mg sodium per litre for pre-loading the night before and morning of)
• 1 × Electrolyte Capsules – 15 tabs (250mg sodium per capsule, take with water from aid stations)

Total: 420g of carbohydrate, 14 fuel units, 2 forms of sodium.

Your marathon starts long before race day.

The Sub-3:30 Marathon Race Pack is designed to be used during the final 2–4 weeks before your marathon, giving you the opportunity to practise your nutrition before it really counts.

Use the included Skratch Sport Hydration Drink Mix and 6 Precision PF30 Gels during your final key long runs.

A great starting point is:

• 1–1.5 scoops of Skratch per hour

• 2 × Precision PF30 Gels per hour

This provides approximately 80–90g of carbohydrate per hour—a fuelling strategy commonly used by marathon runners aiming to maximise performance.

Every athlete is different, so use these sessions to adjust your gel timing, drink concentration and total carbohydrate intake until you find what works best for you.

Race day is about executing the strategy you've already practised.

Use the remaining 6 Precision PF30 Gels alongside your Skratch Sport Hydration Drink Mix to continue targeting approximately 80–90g of carbohydrate per hour.

Your PF30 Caffeine Gel can be used in one of two ways:

• 15 minutes before the start after your warm-up to have caffeine available early in the race.

or

• Keep it in reserve and take it later in the marathon if you begin to fade or feel the early signs of "the bonk." That late caffeine hit can provide both a physical and mental lift when you need it most.

The best outcome?

You cross the finish line with the caffeine gel still in your race belt.

That usually means your pacing, fuelling and energy management all came together.

ELECTROLYTE CAPSULES (1 pack of 15)
Tri-Sodium Citrate, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Chloride, Tri-Potassium Citrate. Capsule shell: Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (vege cap), Calcium Citrate, Magnesium Oxide, Magnesium Citrate, Magnesium Stearate. 250mg sodium per capsule.
